Position Summary:
The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. 4. Administer the annual performance evaluation process, ensuring that it is fair, consistent, and aligned with the company's performance management system.
5. Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
6. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to compensation and benefits, including but not limited to wage and hour laws, ERISA, and FMLA.
7. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefit-related transactions.
8. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding compensation and benefits-related inquiries and issues.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits to continuously improve the organization's programs.
10. Prepare reports and presentations related to compensation and benefits for management and board meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration or a related HR role.
3. Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in using HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
7. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws related to compensation and benefits, including knowledge of compliance requirements for diverse employee populations.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
